The whiskey is aged for 9 years and aged in a variety of barrels including new, charred, and (for the last two years of aging) used barrels. It has aromas of rich oak, sweet caramel, and hints of spice. On the palate, there are notes of vanilla, toasted marshmallow, and a hint of pepper. The finish is smooth and sweet with a hint of oak and spice. This whiskey is great for sipping neat or on the rocks. Nose: Refreshing aroma. Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour. Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
