Size: 750ML Proof: 84 (42% ABV) Origin: United States Distillery: Black Button Distillery Black Button makes their limited edition Lilac Gin each spring as a complement to Rochester�s rich festival and floral history. Once known as The Flower/Flour City, Black Button recognizes Rochester�s roots with a gin that sports a beautiful bouquet of lilac, lavender, rose, and hibiscus tasting notes. Each flower petal is steeped, distilled, and recombined to create a light and delicate flavor. Nose: Earthy, sweet floral aroma filled with lilac & lily blooms. Palate: Dry, with more candied orange notes as well as lavender. Finish: Gentle floral finish with hints of rose. The Black Button Distillery is a small business set up and run by Jason Barrett, which takes its name from his family�s long history of producing buttons for men�s suits. Barrett broke tradition, and instead of taking over his grandfather�s button factory, he turned to distilling. Barrett opened the distillery at the age of just 24, in 2013. Back then, it produced just one Gin and a couple of moonshines (or white Whiskies). Today, the distillery�s portfolio has expanded to include three Bourbons, a Vodka, and another two Gins due for release in 2017.
