Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin is produced by aging Bluecoat American Dry Gin for a minimum of three months, providing a unique, well rounded and complex spirit. The Bluecoat American Dry distilled in a traditional copper pot still and is named after the uniforms worn by the militia in the American Revolution. The botanical recipe is kept secret however the style is a classic dry gin. Size: 750mL Proof: 92 (47% ABV) Origin: United States Distillery: Philadelphia Distilling A cask-aged edition of Bluecoat American Dry Gin from Philadelphia Distilling! They take their gin, made with earthy juniper, American citrus, coriander seed and angelica root, then leave it to age for at least 3 months in American oak barrel, bringing a wealth of creamy caramel and vanilla notes to its refreshing flavour profile. Nose: Aromas of juniper with prominent notes of cedar wood, butterscotch, and honeysuckle and citrus. Palate: Botanical herbal notes and wood. Finish: Well-balanced and smooth. Philadelphia Distilling is the first craft distillery to open in the state of Pennsylvania since Prohibition.
