Size: 750ML Proof: 111.5 (55.75% ABV) Origin: United States Distillery: MGP Heaven's Door Spirits, in collaboration with Bob Dylan, announces the first expression of its limited edition Bootleg Series, a rare 26-year old whisky finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels. This first release, dubbed Volume 1 of the Bootleg Series, is both a celebration of the creative spirit of Bob Dylan and the craft of fine whiskey at its best. Offered in hand-made ceramic bottles featuring one of Bob Dylan's best-known paintings, Train Tracks, this 2019 Edition comes beautifully housed in a uniquely designed and individually numbered collectible leather journal. Nose: This one begins with plum and raisin, then delves into a light nuttiness. There's also some background notes of vanilla bean and oak. Palate: Flavors of honeydew, vanilla, and a touch of clove spice. Finish: A fairly long finish. Headquartered in Atchison, Kansas, MGP began in 1941 as a small distillery operation in the heart of America's grain belt. Founder Cloud L. Cray, Sr., felt the Company's location and existing infrastructure were an ideal base from which to grow a successful business that would serve the needs of its customers.
