They make this tipple using a combination of only 5 botanicals - juniper, orris root, bitter orange, lemon verbena and coriander - and a base spirit of 100% corn. Nose: Juniper-forward, closer to a London Dry. Palate: Very smooth and refreshing with juniper and a balance of citrus. Finish: Clean and smooth. Prohibition Distillery,is located two hours north of NYC in Roscoe, NY. The distillery is situated in the town�s old fire house, and the logo on every bottle of Spirits produced is a nod to the Florian Cross; the symbol of the patron saint of firefighters. The distillery houses a 1,200 gallon (yes, gallon) pot still called �Pearl�, as well as a 300-gallon finishing still, as well as a bottling room where all the Spirits are hand-filled, corked and labeled. Prohibition Distillery produces Vodka, Gin, and Bourbon, and has a tasting room on site, as well as a bar for the summer months.
