Conncullin Irish
Conncullin Irish
Description:
Concullin Gin is produced out of Ireland and intentionally separates itself from the London dry style or "British gin" by including floral elements particular to Ireland. Size: 750ML Proof: 94 (47% ABV) Origin: Ireland Distillery: Connacht Distillery Pot-distilled at the Connacht Distillery in County Mayo, this gin uses juniper, hawthorn berry, elderberry, and other botanicals in its make up. Conncullin gets its name from the two lakes which are the source of the water used at the distillery: Lough Conn & Lough Cullin. Bottled at 94 proof. Nose: The aroma focuses on juniper, other berry skins, and freshly-ground coriander. Palate: The palate is more bitter than the aroma might let on as anise and orris root play a large role. Finish: Long & Spicy. The Connacht Distillery sits on the banks of the beautiful River Moy where the river widens into the Moy Estuary in Ballina, County Mayo. Here we distill and barrel-age our spirits in a rural, coastal environment unique to the West of Ireland.
