It contains locally foraged botanicals, including rowan berry, fuschia, bog myrtle, hawthorn and heather, reflecting the Kerry landscape surrounding the distillery. It was also awarded the title World�s Best Gin at the 2019 World Gin Awards. Not too shabby for three spirit-loving chaps and a single pot still over in Kerry! Nose: Pungent, cracked black pepper and piney juniper with celery, freshly cut grass and white pepper. Water releases floral and cut plant stem aromas. Palate: Spicy with more cracked black pepper, juniper spice, floral flavours and strong coriander. Finish: Peppery finish with lingering coriander. Dingle Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in 2012 and billing itself as an 'artisan' distillery. The distillery is located in a converted sawmill in Milltown on the outskirts of Dingle, in a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region) in the southwest of Ireland. The first whiskeys distilled and matured at the distillery were released in late 2016. In addition to whiskey, the distillery also produces and markets Dingle vodka and Dingle Gin.
