Size: 750ML Proof:�84 (42.0% ABV) Origin: Mexico Distillery: EL TEQUILE�O DISTILLERY To bring the expression to life, they started with an award-winning base. �Learning about the process behind creating The Sassenach whisky, and hearing stories of Scotland has been an inspirational experience for me,� Salles says. �The Scottish and Mexican cultures have many similarities � both have great pride in their countries, deep-rooted histories, and of course, a great passion for producing their national spirits.� The Sassenach Select is handcrafted using the finest matured agave from the Highlands of Jalisco and mineral-rich water from El Volca?n de Tequila and is distilled in traditional copper pot stills. It is aged for two years in American oak barrels and finished in French oak barrels.�The result is an extraordinary blend of bold taste notes. Nose: The combination of American and French Oak form an unparalleled balance of truly special flavors. Palate: On the palate, you will find lots of cooked agaves, toasty oak, light vanilla, sweet spice, and herbal notes with a hint of caramel. Finish: Long-lasting finish with layers of complexity that continue to evolve.
