Fords Gin Sloe Gin is a liqueur that combines the classic Fords London Dry Gin recipe with hand-picked sloe fruit from England and France. Enjoyed on the rocks or in a classic cocktail, Fords Sloe Gin is crafted specifically to enhance the cocktail experience for professional bartenders or at-home cocktail enthusiasts alike. Size: 700ML Proof: 50 (29% ABV) Origin: United Kingdom Distillery: Thames Distillery In collaboration with 11th Generation Master Distiller Charles Maxwell of London�s Thames Distillers, Fords Sloe Gin is crafted by combining the nine-botanical Fords Gin at a high proof with hand-picked sloe fruit from France and England and steeped for 12 weeks. The liquid is then sweetened with sugar to balance the naturally bitter flavor of sloe fruit. The final product is cut to 29% ABV/58 proof, a bit higher than most sloe gins to allow for the Fords Gin botanical profile to be present in the overall taste. Nose: Aromas of stewed plums, fig and rich dark raisin Palate: Notes of tart dried fruits, golden raisins and dried figs Finish: Finish of citrus oils and bitter fruit with honey The Thames Distillery was established in 1996 by Charles Maxwell, an eighth generation Gin distiller. The company has devised hundreds of Gins, and currently, produces around 60 Gins for different brands � from international brands to small-scale operations for bars.
