What the Australian distillers did was steep the grapes in the gin for eight weeks, then pressed the grapes and blended it with yet more of their gin! Nose: Lots of red fruit sweetness up front, though festive spice notes shine through. Palate: Piney juniper, raspberry, plum, a pinch of peppercorn and just a smidge of citrus zest. Finish: Earthy clove and spicy ginger, with lingering red berry.
