Bottled in 09.2014 at 54% this bottle will make a fine addition to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover. Please note that this Distillery Bottling is Port Pipe. It is also worth mentioning that this is uncolored, non-chillfiltered, cask strength, single cask whisky edition of Glendronach. This is one of only 714 bottles ever produced. A fact, that makes this edition even more desirable. Nose: Moist and sticky Jamaican ginger cake soaked in rum. Brown sugar and some creme brulee notes. Palate: Definitely Jamaican ginger cake. Big attack on the ginger, its followed up with honey and syrup, sticky and oily in Glendronach style. Finish: Medium long on toasted oak, brown sugar and gentle warm spices. Glendronach Distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardice.�Nestled in the Valley of Forgue, deep in the East Highland Hills, is The GlenDronach Distillery, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. We have been dedicated to creating the finest, richly-sherried Single Malts for almost 200 years.�Over the nearly 200 years of their history, this traditional distillery has been bought, sold, and traded a lot of times. But in 2008 they were finally rescued by the BenRiach Distillery Company.
