The making of fruit gins has long been a tradition in the English countryside, and ours keeps true to a recipe dating back to 1883. Size: 750mL Proof: 52 (26% ABV) Origin: England Distillery: Black Friars Distillery A great sloe gin liqueur, with a beautiful balance between sweet and bitter fruit flavours, and a hint of almonds from the stone of the fruit. Nose: The nose is A clear character of mellow sloe berries, it�s fruity with notes of sweet cherry and a slight scent of almonds. Palate: The palate is Fruity, smooth and full-bodied, with a perfect balance of sweet and dry. Finish: Long, fresh and fruity. The Black Friars distillery where Plymouth Gin is made was set up in 1793 when the Coates family joined the established distilling business of Fox & Williamson and converted the old Black Friars monastery.
