Size:�700ML Proof:�110.6 (55.3% ABV) Origin:�Scotland Distillery:�Springbank Distillery First distilled in 1973 Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown style smoky character. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year.�This 2001 Springbank vintage was released in 2009, a vatting of sherry and bourbon casks, with natural caramel sweetness, some citrussy flavours and a noticeable peaty edge. Nose:�Citrus notes with rubber and oak Palate:�Combining some peat smoke/ash, natural caramel sweetness, refreshing citrus flavours. Finish: A mid to long finish, a bit peppery spicy followed by saltiness. The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
