At the former, five stacked casks that looked like a hen coop stood out and they became the basis of this blend. Nose:�Layers of rich Manuka honey are joined by caramel, apples, and vanilla. Palate:�Golden barley, fresh orange, and clove join the aromas from the nose. Finish:�Long and soft with a delicate sweetness. Summerhall Distillery � the first gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh for over 150 years. Their gin, based on an original Bombay recipe and kept secret since 1947, Pickering�s is a spectacularly smooth and flavoursome gin. This multi award winning, marvellously mixed gin is hand crafted at Summerhall Distillery.
