Their earliest releases were sourced from Kentucky (via Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, another NDP)�until whiskey-mania began to limit the number of barrels that distilleries were willing to sell. With no-age-statement, this is one of the last of those bottles, release bottled at 47.5% ABV. Nose: Vanilla pod, freshly cut wood, hay and cantaloupe. Palate: Brown sugar and cinnamon, with hints of cooked apple underneath. Finish: A lingering warmth of clove and sawdust. Distilled and Aged in Kentucky (KBD, NDP).
