The aromatic constellation is precise and minerally, offering up scents of apple, pear, lime peel, a beautiful base of chalky soil tones, dried flowers and a touch of straw in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and racy, with a rock solid core of fruit, impeccable balance and grip, lovely mineral drive and a long, focused and very promising finish., Allen Meadows: A discreet dollop of wood sets off the ever-so-mildly exotic aromas of white and yellow peach, passion fruit and subtle mineral reduction wisps. There isn't the same weight and density though there is much better refinement to the lightly stony, focused and sneaky long finish.
