City of London Gin is produced at the small City of London distillery which opened in November 2012. The distillery is based just off Fleet Street and is the first to open in the City of London in over 200 years. The distillery houses two copper stills which they use for producing their Gin and Vodka, and opens as a bar in the evenings. A modern London Dry style gin with big grapefruity citrus notes. Size: 700ML Proof: 80.6 (40.3% ABV) Origin: United Kingdom Distillery: City of London Distillery Behold, the City of London Distillery's very own London dry gin, which was distilled in... London. Clearly. This top expression features the likes of juniper, coriander, angelica and liquorice, as well as a good helping of citrus, including some zesty grapefruit amongst the orange and lemon. Just the ticket for a G&T, we reckon. Nose: Clear aroma. Palate: Wonderfully herbal with coriander and liquorice, swiftly followed by juicy citrus and drying, peppery juniper. Finish: Refreshing.
