Where many spiced rums suffocate under too much sugar and vanilla flavoring, ours contains very little added sugar, no vanilla, and a whole slew of unusual botanicals. Baking spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice form its core, but herbaceous and savory additions like lemon verbena, caraway, cumin, and fenugreek take us into a firm chai tea-like territory. Spicy, earthy, herbaceous, savory, and citrusy- it�s a very unusual spirit. Nose: The aroma provides notes of molasses, cinnamon, allspice, and a light note of anise. Palate: Notes of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, with a pleasant mocha. Finish: Subtle mineral filled finish.
