Size:�750ML Proof:�84 (42%ABV) Origin: Colombia Distillery: Dictador A tremendously well-aged rum from Columbia, this blend combines two single vintage expressions distilled at Dictador in 1975 and 1977. The rum was then shipped to France, where cellar master at Cognac house Hardy, Micka�l Bouilly carefully blended it in a limousin oak cask from 1969. The rum rested in the Cognac cask for 13 months, before finally it was bottled as part of Dictador's 2 Masters collection, which sees master blender Hernan Parra collaborate with other spirit masters, like Bouilly. Nose:�Golden syrup, new leather, and hints of bee pollen. Some lavender, chopped almonds, and honeycomb dusted with milk chocolate powder. Palate:�Royal jelly, white flowers, and hints of lavender, with fresh pineapple drizzled with Cognac. Light vanilla creme br�l�e, toasted almonds. Finish:�Cigar boxes, creme Anglaise, and passion fruit. The Dictador distillery is located in Cartagena de Indias on the Caribbean Sea in Colombia. The privileged position almost on the seafront creates a unique microclimate, ideal for rum aging, with an ambient temperature above 25 degrees, relative humidity above 85 percent per year. The proximity of the sea gives a distinctive taste of rum.
