Cannonball is a navy-strength release from Edinburgh Gin Distillery. This powerful and full-bodied spirit contains double the amount of juniper as the original, as well as Szechuan pepper for extra warming spice. This works well in a classic Martini. And here it is - Edinburgh Gin Cannonball, a Navy Strength gin with quite a punchy character thanks to the ABV, which sits at 57.2%, and the vibrant botanical selection. They have used double strength juniper, lemon peel and a pinch of Szechuan pepper, among other botanicals, to create a hearty tipple that's sure to make an impression (you know, much like a cannonball would). Nose: Intensely flavoured of Szechuan peppercorns, oriental spices. Palate: A tang of lemon zest and twice the juniper content. Finish: A lasting whisper of peppery juniper and honey. Spencerfield Spirits was founded by Alex Nicol, a former marketing director at Glenmorangie. Family owned and operated, Spencerfield is a small-batch craft distillery situated in the small town of Edinburgh, Scotland. Spencerfield is main mission is to produce the finest quality niche craft alternatives to big league brands. And their quirky farm inspired products measures up.
