This one was distilled in 2002 and since then has spent time maturing before its ultimate bottling at 57.1% ABV by Denmark's 1423 for the Single Barrel Selection. Nose: Pepper, wood and vanilla are all at play here along with sweet syrup sponge and molasses. Palate: A long deliberate finish that lasts and lasts. Finish: Quite long and warm.
