Matured for 30 days in 39.25-litre casks, this has a herbal sweetness, and notes of juniper and citrus peel. However, the Swedish artisan distillery Herno have taken this a step further and created the Juniper Cask Gin, a gin that has been aged in barrels made from juniper wood, an exciting world first. Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming. Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste. Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
