Size:�700ML Proof:�114.4 (57.2%ABV) Origin:�Jamaica Distillery: The Wild Parrot A cracking Jamaican rum here, independently bottled as part of The Wild Parrot series. Distilled in 2001, and bottled in 2022, the label advises us that this expression hails from "LP Distillery", and we reckon it shouldn't be too hard for fans of Jamaican rum to figure out what that means. Nose:�Sweet dry with hints of oily and toasted oak, sliced lime and candied orange, a pungent yet smooth mid tone on the nose, soft oak and hints of peppers and sweet spices. Palate: Dark fruits, rich ginger and bergamot hits the roof of the palate to add more to the nose than the palate for a moment, soft fruits and rich oily notes on the mid palate, allowing this rum to open or adding a drop or 3 of water at room temperature opens a rich fruit cake and dried dates, hints of kiwi and dark chocolate. Finish:�Smooth sherry Cask finish. The Wild Parrot is an independent bottling brand created in 2017 by two great enthusiasts. On one hand, we have Stefano Cremaschi of The Whisky Roundabout store. On the other, Andrea Ferrari, independent whiskey bottler with Hidden Spirits since 2013. The beautiful labels for the Art and Animal, Black and Gold and Beauty of Nature collections are by artist Giulia Ronchetti.
